POCUS for Medical Officers is a joint project by the Ultrasound chapter of SLCEP and the Education, Training and Research Unit, Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka. This is a free course for all doctors at the primary care level in Sri Lanka to get hands-on skills in POCUS. The course consists of 1-day basic POCUS covers EFAST, (Basic), RUSH and 2-day advanced POCUS course covers Dengue scan, Lung- BLUE protocol, Gynaecology, Resuscitative USS which are necessary modules for assessment and resuscitation of critically ill patients.
